99 Nights in the Forest: The Aliens Revenge Update Guide

99 Nights in the Forest is a Roblox survival game where your goal is to build a campsite, gather food, and survive 99 nights while avoiding the Deer that hunts you throughout each run.

The Aliens Revenge update dropped on June 27, 2026, and it's one of the biggest content additions the game has seen in months. The update tasks players with defending Earth from an alien invasion, introducing an entirely new progression path on top of the base survival loop. It adds Alien Outposts scattered across the map, a repairable Command Ship, a full Mothership raid with new alien-tech loot, and a brand-new playable class.

In this article, we'll explore everything added in the Aliens Revenge update, including how the event works, how to find all Alien Batteries, what the new Alien Scientist class offers, and how to unlock all event rewards.

How the Event Works

How the Event Works

The Alien's Revenge event triggers automatically on Night 3, when UFOs crash near the campfire. A cutscene plays showing the ships going down, and from that point the event is live for the rest of your run.

A giant UFO spawns behind your campfire that requires five batteries to activate. One battery is already installed, meaning you need to locate the remaining four. The batteries can be found at alien structures scattered across the forest, all of which appear on the map if you use the provided scanner.

Once all five batteries are in, the Command Ship becomes operational and launches you up to the alien Mothership to complete the raid.

How to Find All Alien Batteries

Each alien structure rewards the same two items regardless of which one you visit: a UFO Battery and an Alien Chest. Some locations let you collect the battery immediately, while others require you to complete a task first.

Here are the four ways to get batteries:

  • Alien Sites: These function like a passive loot drop. An alien chest and battery sit underneath the structure with no mobs guarding them.
  • Alien Outposts: Guarded structures scattered across the forest. Clear the aliens first, then collect the battery.
  • Alien Crop Circle: Deliver three dead alien bodies to receive the battery and chest.
  • Acid Pool: Fish the battery out using a fishing rod.

Open your map and use the scanner to mark all Alien Outpost locations before heading out. Planning your route before Night 3 ends saves a lot of time.

How to Raid the Mothership

How to Raid the Mothership

Once you've installed all four batteries, the UFO becomes operational and transports you to the alien Mothership.

Follow these steps once you're inside:

1. You must open three doors before reaching the final room. In each room, defeat the Alien Elite enemy and regular aliens.

2. Pick up the defeated Alien Elite's body and place it in front of the door scanner to unlock the next room. Only Alien Elite bodies work. Regular alien bodies will not trigger the scanner.

3. Repeat this across all three rooms until you reach the final area.

4. The final room will appear empty, but the moment you interact with the treasure chest, aliens will spawn across the room carrying Rayguns. Strafe and shoot to survive the last wave.

5. After looting the chest, head to the green door labeled "Teleport to Earth" in the same room. Walking through it completes the event and returns you safely to the forest.

A ranged weapon is strongly recommended inside the Mothership so you can keep your distance from the Alien Elites, who hit hard up close. Stock up on healing items before boarding.

Alien Scientist Class

Alien Scientist Class

The Alien Scientist is a new 5-star class purchasable from the Classes shop for 600 Diamonds. You do not need it to complete the event. Any class can repair the Command Ship, raid the Mothership, and earn the badges. It simply gives you a strong alien loadout from the first night.

The Alien Scientist begins each run with an Alien Shotgun, a Dissolve Ray, and a Raygun, alongside a +4 Sack Space bonus.

Here is how the class scales across its three levels:

LevelPerks
Level 1Dissolve enemies below 10% HP into Essence. Collecting Essence increases alien energy regen speed. +4 Sack Space
Level 2Dissolve threshold increases to 15%. Dissolved enemies have a chance to drop Meat? Sandwiches
Level 3Collecting Essence also grants a sprint speed bonus

The Dissolve Ray is the core of the class. Collecting more Essence causes your alien energy to regenerate faster, which directly benefits the Alien Shotgun and Raygun since both rely on charging when they overheat.

Event Rewards

Completing the Mothership raid pays out several rewards:

  • Rewards from the chest can include previously released alien-themed equipment such as Cyborg Armour and newly added alien technology.
  • There are three badges tied to this event, each requiring a different milestone during the Mothership raid. Completing all three rewards Diamonds and the limited-time Alien Wolf Skin.
  • The Alien Wolf Skin is only available while the event is live, so complete all three badges before the update ends.

Conclusion

The Aliens Revenge update adds a solid layer of content to the base survival loop. Collecting batteries, raiding the Mothership, and earning the Alien Wolf Skin give you clear goals to work toward each run, and the Alien Scientist class is worth picking up if you plan on playing through the event multiple times.
