How to Craft Items

Crafting Bench
When you spawn into a run, you'll find the Crafting Bench right behind your campfire. Here's how to use it:
- Throw your Wood and Scrap materials into the grinder.
- Press E to open the recipe menu.
- Select the item you want to craft.
- If you have the required materials, the item will be ready instantly.
The bench has five upgrade tiers, each unlocking a new set of recipes. Upgrade as early as possible.
Tool Workshop
The Tool Workshop is a separate crafting location that most players overlook. It looks like a large stone-brick castle with vines you can climb to reach the upper floors, and it shows up on your map as an anvil icon. Two Cultists guard the building, and one Crossbow Cultist clears them out first.
To start crafting, climb to the second and third floors to find the anvil parts. Drag all three parts into the highlighted area on the first floor to assemble the anvil. Once assembled, you can craft three guaranteed items: the Hammer, Bandages, and Infernal Helmet, plus one randomly selected item, either a Chainsaw, Riot Shield, Tactical Shotgun, or Thorn Body.
You can only craft one item at a time, so collect all your materials before making a selection.

Conclusion
Crafting is what keeps you alive in 99 Nights in the Forest. Focus on upgrading your Crafting Bench as fast as possible, prioritize essential items early on, and don't skip the Tool Workshop; the items there can make a real difference in the later nights.
