Sailor Piece is a Roblox game inspired by popular anime and manga series, featuring a wide range of weapons tied to iconic characters. Getting it is a serious time commitment, requiring you to work through multiple questlines and dungeon runs before you can even think about unlocking it.
In this article, we'll walk you through everything you need to do to get Shadow Monarch in Sailor Piece.

How to Get Shadow Monarch in Sailor Piece

Before you can unlock Shadow Monarch, you need to already own the Solo Hunter sword. Without it, the Shadow Monarch NPC won't even give you the option to upgrade. Once you have it, head to Dungeon Island and make your way to the rooftop of the dungeon building, where the Shadow Monarch Trainer NPC is located. Interact with the NPC and you'll see all the required items to unlock the sword.
Here's everything you need to bring:
- Solo Hunter Sword
- King of Shadows Title (6.75-12% drop chance)
- 10x Monarch Core (0.8-1.15% drop chance)
- 5x Monarch Essence (2.75-6.5% drop chance)
- 2x Kamish Dagger (0.75-1.4% drop chance)
- 1x Shadow Crystal (2.75-6.5% drop chance)
All of these materials drop from the Shadow Monarch boss, which is found inside the Double Dungeon on Dungeon Island. The drop rates are low, so expect to run the dungeon multiple times before you have everything. Running the dungeon on a higher difficulty increases your drop chances, so it's worth doing if your build can handle it.

Shadow Monarch Moveset
Shadow Monarch has a strong moveset with fast cooldowns and wide AOE coverage, making it effective for both bossing and PvP. Here's a breakdown of each move:
- Z: A medium-range slice that ends with a dash forward
- X: Summons a statue that deals continuous fire damage
- C: A small AOE attack with high damage output
- V: A series of high-speed slashes across a wide area, dealing very high damage
- F: Unleashes a barrage of purple slashes with a cutscene effect, plus a permanent 30% damage boost (requires completing the Mastery questline)
How to Complete the Shadow Monarch Mastery Quest

After unlocking Shadow Monarch, you can start the Mastery questline to unlock the F move and get the 30% permanent damage buff. Head to the Shadow Monarch Mastery NPC, located in the same spot as the Solo Hunter Trainer NPC on Sailor Island, and interact with it to begin.
The questline has three quests you need to complete in order:
- Dungeon Master: Clear 10 Double Dungeons on Hard or Extreme difficulty
- Monarch's Blood: Own the Monarch Clan
- Shadow Army: Defeat 25 Shadow Soldiers inside the dungeon
The Monarch Clan is Legendary rarity, meaning you may need well over 100 clan rerolls to get it. Shadow Soldiers spawn inside Double Dungeons at a low rate, but you'll naturally run into enough of them as you work through the other quests. Once all three are done, the F move unlocks alongside the damage boost.

Conclusion
Shadow Monarch is one of the best weapons you can get in Sailor Piece, but it takes a serious grind to unlock. Focus on farming the Double Dungeon consistently, run it on higher difficulty when possible, and work through the Mastery questline once you have the sword. Once you're done, you'll have one of the strongest builds in the game.
