Can You Play Roblox on Nintendo Switch?
TL;DR
No, you cannot play Roblox on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2. There is no Roblox app on the Nintendo eShop, and neither Roblox nor Nintendo has announced a port or a release date.
Is Roblox Available on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2?
No. Roblox is not available on the original Switch, Switch Lite, Switch OLED, or Switch 2. You will not find it on the Nintendo eShop, and the official Roblox download page does not offer a Nintendo version.
What About Switch 2?
Switch 2 launched on June 5, 2025, with stronger hardware than the original Switch. That did not change anything for Roblox. As of October 2026, neither company has announced a Switch 2 version. Posts claiming Roblox is "coming soon" to Switch 2 are rumors or fake leaks, and none of the ones we checked trace back to Roblox or Nintendo.
Will Roblox Ever Come to Nintendo Switch?
Nobody outside Roblox and Nintendo knows, and neither has given a reason for the gap. The closest thing to a statement is old. In 2021, Roblox CEO Dave Baszucki said Switch, PlayStation, and Quest all make sense for Roblox. PlayStation and Quest both arrived in 2023, but Switch did not. That same year, a Roblox spokesperson told The Verge that Roblox wants to be on every device but has no imminent plans for Switch.
Since then, there has been no new announcement. If Roblox does come to a Nintendo console, it will show up on the Nintendo eShop and in Roblox's own announcements first, not in a random video or a comment section link.
Can You Play Roblox on Switch With a Workaround?
Not in any way that Roblox or Nintendo supports. Online guides mention browser tricks, DNS changes, cloud streaming, and modding the console to install other software. None of these are approved, and the DNS tricks in particular have not held up. Unofficial methods also take technical skill and can leave you unable to play Switch games online.
The bigger danger is scams. Fake installers and cloned login pages target players who want a Switch version. Never download a file that claims to be Roblox for Switch, and never enter your password on any site other than roblox.com.

Consoles
Roblox runs on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The PlayStation app is available in select countries, so check the PlayStation Store for your region.
PC, Mobile, and VR
You can play on Windows, macOS, iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Roblox is also on Meta Quest 2, Quest Pro, and Quest 3 for players aged 10 and older, as listed in the Roblox Meta Quest FAQ.
Crossplay
Players on PC, Mac, mobile, Xbox, PlayStation, and Quest can join the same experiences and servers. Individual experiences can still limit which devices they support. If you own a Switch and a phone or tablet, you can keep the Switch for Nintendo games and use the phone for Roblox. Once you are in, the BloxBoom blog has guides for popular games like Murder Mystery 2, Grow a Garden, and Blox Fruits.
Conclusion
Roblox is not on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2, and no release has been announced. The simplest option is to play on a supported device like a phone, PC, Xbox, or PlayStation and skip the workarounds. If that changes, the news will come from Roblox and Nintendo directly.
