The Forge has plenty of quests, but the Lost Cat quest is one of the more involved ones. You'll find Tomo the Explorist sitting on a wall in Stonewake's Cross, asking you to find his missing cat. What looks like a simple fetch quest turns out to be far more complicated than it seems.

How to Find Tomo's Cat in The Forge
Step 1: Accept the Quest
You'll find Tomo the Explorist to the left of Stonewake's Cross' mine entrance, up the hill, behind the Greedy Cey NPC. Interact with him to accept the Lost Cat quest.
Step 2: Head to the Forgotten Kingdom
You'll need to be Level 10 and have completed Sensei Moro's prologue quest before you can access the Forgotten Kingdom via the portal.
Step 3: Complete the Goblin King Questline
The gate to the Goblin Cave is locked by default. To unlock it, you must complete five tasks for the Goblin King, each requiring high-rarity gems and a large amount of gold. Here's what he asks for:
- Give 5,000 Gold
- Give 10,000 Gold and 3 Topaz
- Give 15,000 Gold and 5 Diamonds
- Give 20,000 Gold and 5 Emeralds
- Give 25,000 Gold and 5 Ruby
These quests are grind-heavy, asking for a total of 75,000 Gold. To farm gold faster, complete Captain Rowan's quests and take on Masked Stranger and Amber's quests alongside them, as they all involve defeating the same enemies.
Step 4: Get the Goblin Cave Key
Once you've completed every task, the Goblin King will leave the area. Search his throne to find the key to the Goblin Cave. Use the key to unlock the door beside him and enter.
Step 5: Find Tomo's Cat
From the entrance, walk straight ahead until you reach an intersection. Take the leftward path to find a bridge and a waterfall. Head through the waterfall inside, and you'll find what looks like a solid rock wall, but it's actually an illusion. Walk straight through it to enter a secret area, where Tomo's cat is sitting quietly on a rock waiting for you. Pick it up and return to Tomo in Stonewake's Cross.

Quest Rewards
Completing the Lost Cat quest gives you $25,000 and the "Cat Lover" title. You also get a solid XP boost that's usually enough to level you up, which increases your max stamina and unlocks new regions.
