How to Get to the Trading Hub in Adopt Me
Learn how to unlock the Trading Phone, meet all requirements, and travel to the new cross-server Trading Hub in Adopt Me.

TL;DR
Play for two hours, complete the Trade License in the Safety Hub, and own at least one Neon pet to unlock the free Trading Phone. Use it to summon a hot air balloon to the Trading Hub, then talk to Robo-Todd to post listings and Robo-Rob to search listings from every server.
Adopt Me got a Trading Hub update on July 31, 2026, and it replaces the old method of jumping between servers, hoping to run into the right player. Now you get a Trading Phone that calls in a hot air balloon and takes you to a shared space where the trade board pulls listings from players across every server, not just yours.
The catch is that the Trading Phone doesn't just show up in your toy inventory. You have to meet three separate conditions first, and skipping even one keeps the balloon on the ground. In this article, we'll explore how to unlock the Trading Phone, meet all the requirements, and get to the Trading Hub in Adopt Me.

How to Unlock the Trading Phone

Three separate conditions have to be met before the Trading Phone shows up in your toy inventory, and Epic isn't the one setting these rules this time, it's the Guide, the Safety Hub, and your pet collection.
First, you need to log two hours of playtime. This doesn't have to happen in one sitting for most players, but it does need to add up before the Guide will hand over the phone for free.
Second, head to the Safety Hub and complete the Trade License. This is a separate task from playtime, so finishing one doesn't count toward the other. You need to knock out both.
Third, you need to own at least one Neon pet. This is the requirement that trips up a lot of newer accounts, since Neon pets aren't something you buy outright. You get one by aging four copies of the same pet all the way to Full Grown, then combining them. If you don't have four matching pets yet, opening eggs until you collect enough copies is the fastest route.
Once all three are done, open your toy inventory and the Trading Phone should be sitting there, ready to summon the balloon that takes you to the Trading Hub.

How to Travel to the Trading Hub

Once the Trading Phone is unlocked, getting to the hub itself only takes a few steps:
- Open your toy inventory and select the Trading Phone. It will only be usable if all three requirements from the previous section are met.
- Tap the option to summon a hot air balloon. This takes you out of your regular Adoption Island server.
- Wait for the balloon to take off and land. Once it touches down, you've arrived at the Trading Hub.
- Look for the two robot characters standing in the area, Robo Todd and Robo Rob. Robo Todd is who you talk to for posting your own listings, and Robo Rob is who you go to for browsing what other players have put up.
Both of them are worth checking out once you land, since they cover the two main things you'll actually be doing at the hub.

Posting and Searching Trades at the Hub
Two bots are waiting for you inside the Trading Hub to handle cross-server trades, Robo-Todd and Robo-Rob.
- Robo-Todd handles your listings. Talk to him to post what you're offering and what you want back. Each listing costs 100 Bucks, and you only get two active slots by default, though a third can be bought for 49 Robux. He's also the one to go to if you want to check offers on a listing or adjust one that isn't getting any attention.
- Robo-Rob handles searches. Tell him what you're after, and he'll pull up matching listings from every server, not just the one you're on. If nothing matches exactly, he'll show similar listings instead so you're not left with nothing.
Any pet you put into a listing or offer gets locked while it's active, so you won't be able to equip, modify, or trade it elsewhere until you cancel or finish that trade. The hub also shuts down offers that are too one-sided, so don't expect to hand over a common pet and walk away with a legendary.
Conclusion
The Trading Hub makes trading in Adopt Me a lot less random, but it locks you out until you put in the work for all three requirements. Once the Trading Phone is in your inventory, though, getting to the hub takes seconds, and Robo-Todd and Robo-Rob handle the rest. If you're still missing a Neon pet, that's the piece to focus on first since it usually takes the longest to get.
