How the Tornado Event Worked
The Tornado Event took place on Central Island, right where past events like Plant Ascension and Refinery ran. To get started, you had to head over to the event point of interest and pick a plant type to submit.
Once you chose your plant, you kept feeding copies of it into the event to build up your submission count for that specific type. Normal plants counted as one submission, while mutated plants counted as two submissions, making them a faster way to progress through the event. Every submission pushed your progress forward and rewarded you with a mutated version of the same plant, creating a simple loop of submitting plants, earning mutations, and using them to advance even further.
The catch was that the higher your mutation rarity climbed, the more plants of that type you needed to reach the next tier. Early tiers moved fast since the requirements were low, but later ones demanded a much bigger stack of the same plant before you'd see another upgrade.
Progress was tracked through a reward board with 25 tiers total. Each submission cleared one tier, and players had to complete all 25 to fully finish the event and claim everything it offered. The two new mutations, Tornado and Moonlit, were the main draw, with Tornado boosting stats by a hefty 7.5x.
